Yes, we consider our Robot part of the team, particularlly the
most famous member second to the tiger mascot.

CLAW 2008

We experimented during the fall mini regionals with quick connect pieces for our frame. From that "test" we decided to use the quick connect material for this year's robot. Thanks to Chad, our frame has an awesome tiger skin.

Our transmissions are the same design from previous years, except the speeds are faster and fastest (there is no fast).

The front wheels are two omni wheels that can turn sideways very quickly. The back wheels consist of two rubber wheels that allow for a lot of traction.

Our gripper is made of a pinch system with four points of contact, two on top and two on the bottom. The bottom is actuated by a fischer price motor, and the top is acctuated by a pneumatics cylinder.

We can hurdle the ball as well as place it at the end of the match.

We hope to have an autonomous mode soon.
